A physical exfoliating wax that removes dead skin cells and impurities from the skin's surface, leaving it smooth, even and radiant.

Its biodegradable natural cellulose microparticles exfoliate deeply yet gently, reducing the risk of redness or irritation, while the oils in its formula nourish and soothe the skin. It also contains peppermint, whose scent leaves an even fresher, more renewed feeling.

Our face exfoliator is a physical exfoliating wax, formulated with natural oils and biodegradable cellulose microparticles. Instead of microplastics or harsh abrasive particles, the cellulose removes dead skin cells while respecting both your skin and the environment.

  • Gentle, effective exfoliation. The cellulose microparticles smooth the skin's surface while respecting the skin barrier and helping to minimize irritation.
  • An oil base that cares for the skin. The oils soften the skin and provide comfort during exfoliation, preventing that tight feeling.
  • A more sustainable product. The cellulose microparticles are biodegradable, and the reusable jar helps reduce environmental impact without compromising on efficacy.

How often should I use the Exfoliating Cleanser?

We recommend exfoliating once or twice a week, after cleansing with our Cleansing Oil. Very resilient skin with large pores can use it up to 3 times a week.
Can I use the exfoliator during pregnancy?

Yes, you can use the exfoliator during pregnancy, as it doesn't contain retinoids.

As well as the exfoliator, you can also use other retinoid-free products, such as the Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum, the Cleansing Oil and the S Line products (S Hydration Gel-Cream and S Comfort Cream). So if you're pregnant, both the Youth Routine and the Barrier Repair Routine are suitable for you.
Can I use an exfoliator with retinol?

Absolutely! At Método R, we chose physical exfoliation precisely because it doesn't interfere with the active ingredients in the routine. Although we really like chemical exfoliants, we've seen that combining them with actives such as retinol can lead to irritation or other issues. That's why a physical exfoliator is a safer, more compatible option to use alongside retinol, always following each product's instructions for use.
