Our facial scrub is a physical exfoliating wax, formulated with natural oils and biodegradable cellulose microparticles. Instead of microplastics or abrasive particles, cellulose removes dead skin cells while being gentle on the skin and the environment.

Gentle and effective exfoliation. The cellulose microparticles smooth the skin's surface while respecting the skin barrier and helping to minimize irritation. It is also formulated with an oil base that cares for the skin. The oils soften the skin and provide comfort during exfoliation, preventing a feeling of tightness.

How many days should the Exfoliating Cleanser be applied?

We recommend exfoliating the skin once or twice a week after cleansing with our cleansing oil. Very resistant skin with large pores may use it up to a maximum of 3 times per week.
Can I use the scrub while pregnant?

Yes, you can use the exfoliant during pregnancy, as it does not contain retinoids.

In addition to the exfoliant, you can also use other retinoid-free products, such as the Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum, the Cleansing Oil, and the products from the S line (S Hydration and S Comfort). Therefore, if you are pregnant, you can purchase both the Young Skin Kit and the Sensitive Skin Kit.
Can a retinol be combined with an exfoliant?

Of course! At Método R, we have opted for physical exfoliation precisely because it does not interfere with the active ingredients in your routine. Although we really like chemical exfoliants, we have observed that combining them with actives like retinol can lead to irritation or complications. For this reason, a physical exfoliant is a safer and more compatible option to use alongside retinol, provided you always follow the usage instructions for each product.
