What is the difference between the SlowAging comfort routine and the SlowAging hydration routine?

Our SlowAging comfort creams and SlowAging hydration gel-cream have the same active ingredients, the difference is the texture and the contribution of lipids. If you have dry or normal skin, this is your routine, with a denser and more nutritious texture that provides hydration so intense that it lasts until the next morning. If, on the other hand, you have skin fat either with tendency acneic , we recommend the SlowAging hydration routine that has a lighter texture, but also provides moisturizing and emollient active ingredients to keep your skin hydrated.

At Method R, we choose to use liposomed ingredients, which allows us to offer products with a high concentration of active ingredients while reducing the risk of skin irritation.

8% free vitamin C and 8% liposomal vitamin C: vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and has countless published efficacy studies. Preferred by dermatologists for its exceptional antioxidant benefits, this form of pure vitamin C neutralizes the damaging action of free radicals and, combined with ferulic acid, is the most powerful antioxidant cocktail there is. Its main function is to protect against oxidative stress and provide visible anti-aging and brightening benefits. We have chosen to include two versions of vitamin C because the liposome acts deeper and its release is gradual and the free vitamin C provides a more immediate and visible benefit.

0.5% ferulic acid: This acid is a plant-based antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant properties of vitamins C and E.

10% liposomed retinyl: the least irritating vitamin A derivative. Our formula has been specifically designed to repair damage caused by free radicals. Who is the SlowAging Comfort routine recommended for?

The SlowAging Comfort Method R routine is recommended for men and women aged approximately 35 and older, with normal or dry skin. Includes a night cream with vitamin A, which accelerates cell reproduction and repairs cellular damage caused by the exposome. Before that age, it is not recommended because it is generally not necessary. For younger skin, we recommend the S Hydration or S Comfort routines.
What differentiates the hydration routine from the comfort routine?

Both routines have the same products with the same active ingredients at the same concentrations. The only thing that differentiates them is the texture of the night cream and the contribution of lipids to the skin. The SlowAging hydration cream has a gel-cream texture, lighter and with less lipid content and the SlowAging Comfort cream has a rich texture and is more nutritious. If you have dry skin, your cream is SlowAging Comfort and if you have skin with more sebum production, as is often the case with men or women with adult acne, your cream is SlowAging Hydration.
I have never used retinoids. Can I use one of your creams with retinyl?

Method R is an excellent option to start a regimen with retinoids since its formula has managed to considerably reduce its adverse effects and includes soothing and moisturizing active ingredients that help protect the skin from possible irritations. If you have sensitive or sensitized skin, you may have to use it every other day for the first two weeks until your skin gets used to it. And if you have very dehydrated skin, it is advisable to do a hydration treatment first before starting.
What is liposome?
