At Método R, we encapsulate every active ingredient in a liposome. It works like a messenger: it protects the active, carries it to the deeper layers of the epidermis, where it really works, and releases it gradually. We call this technology DDS (Deep Delivery System).

What is a liposome?

The word liposome comes from the Greek "lipos" (fat) and "soma" (body). Liposomes are spherical vesicles created with nanotechnology that act as carriers to transport ingredients, in the same way they're used in pharmaceuticals. They allow a controlled release of ingredients, targeting a specific release point and increasing the efficacy, stability, compatibility and tolerance of the actives.
Does the Antiox Serum contain sun protection?

No. Our Antiox Serum doesn't include sun protection, and we recommend that all our customers apply a mineral sunscreen, such as Colorescience, after the Antiox Serum or any other day cream.
Do I need to apply a moisturizer after the serum?

Our Vitamin C Antiox Serum contains a high amount of hydrating agents, such as vitamin B3, vitamin B5 and high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. It's designed as a single daytime product, so you won't need any extra hydration: just add sunscreen. But if you'd like to apply a moisturizer on top, that's fine too, as the serum absorbs quickly. Just wait about five minutes between applications.
