If you are thinking about starting to use a retinoid cream but have sensitive skin, we recommend doing it gradually by combining our Slow-Aging cream with liposomed retinyl and S Comfort cream.

First, carry out a hydration treatment using S Comfort cream (white jar) in the morning and at night for a week. In the following week, start using the Slow-Aging Cream (black jar) every 3 days and gradually increase the frequency of use until you can apply it every day. With Method R you will see how even the most sensitive skin can benefit from retinoids and enjoy all its advantages.

Primero, realiza una cura de hidratación utilizando la crema S Comfort (tarro blanco) por la mañana y por la noche durante una semana. This kit contains only the 2 nighttime hydration products. To complete the SlowAging Method R Routine, you should include the hydrating cleansing oil, which is used to wash your face in the morning and at night, always rinsing with water. Additionally, the Antiox Serum is crucial for hydration during the day, followed by your favorite sunscreen. The scrub is used weekly and optionally if you want to improve bags and dark circles it is recommended to also use our eye contour. To obtain optimal results and avoid incompatibilities, we do not recommend adding more products to Method R routines.

How do you apply Slow-Aging Comfort Cream?

It is applied to the skin of the face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye area. Recommended use at night.

It can be used every night, after cleansing, or sporadically as a nourishing mask, once or twice a week, alternating with the Slow-aging Hydration Cream. Remember to wash your hands after applying it to avoid touching your eyes and suffering from irritation in the eyelid area due to the retinol. If you have sensitive skin, it is recommended to first apply eye contour or Vaseline around the eyes to protect that most sensitive area.

Why is S Comfort cream so restorative?

Our S Comfort cream contains few but excellent ingredients. Niacinamide is a skin barrier repairer with antioxidant and anti-aging properties. The lipids present in S Comfort cream prevent moisture loss and protect the skin from environmental aggressors. In addition, hyaluronic acid and panthenol, powerful humectants, are responsible for attracting moisture to the skin and strengthening the skin barrier.

I have never used retinoids. Can I use one of your creams with retinyl?

Method R is an excellent option to start a regimen with retinoids since its formula has managed to considerably reduce its adverse effects and includes soothing and moisturizing active ingredients that help protect the skin from possible irritations. If you have sensitive or sensitized skin, you may have to use it every other day for the first two weeks until your skin gets used to it. And if you have very dehydrated skin, it is advisable to do a hydration treatment first before starting.

What products would complete the Method R routine?

To complete your Method R routine, you should add to this kit the Antiox Serum, which would be your moisturizing cream for the day, the hydrating cleansing oil for day and night use, the exfoliant for weekly use, and the eye contour.

Can I use Method R if my skin is sensitive?

Method R creams are very well tolerated for daily use. For a person with sensitive skin, we recommend using the night creams every other day for the first two weeks, combining it with our S Confort cream and little by little trying to increase the frequency of use until you can tolerate using it every night. On the second and third day it is normal to notice a slight irritation or erasing effect (peeling) on ​​the skin, but normally after a week the skin gets used to it, and you can try to increase the frequency of use. Retinoids are wonderful substances for the skin, but they are also irritating. We must introduce them into our routine little by little, giving the skin time to tolerate them and thus be able to enjoy all their benefits.
